You Should Tease Like This Bookstore [video]

by Tracy Johnson

Sometimes it’s easier to perfect an art by looking outside your industry. In radio, attracting more quarter-hours is a direct result of effective pre-promotion. Toledo Programmer and Talk Show Host Scott Sands tipped me off to The Wild Detectives, a Dallas bookstore and bar. And when you see what they’re doing, you’ll want to tease like this bookstore.

Here’s are some of their teases:

“When it’s okay to slut shame single mothers!”

“Teenage girl tricked boyfriend into killing himself!”

“You’ll never guess what happens to this Kansas teen after a tornado destroys her home!”

Each line sounds like a story you want to hear or read, doesn’t it? They’re teases by a bookstore in Texas to encourage people to read classic literature.
